New Delhi , April 7: Rajasthan Royals registered a dominant 27-run win over Mumbai Indians in a rain-curtailed 11-over match at the ACA Stadium.

After being put in to bat, Rajasthan made full use of the conditions, posting a formidable 150/3. Yashasvi Jaiswal led the charge with a sensational unbeaten 77 off 32 balls, smashing 10 fours and 4 sixes.

The early momentum came from 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who played a fearless knock of 39 off just 14 deliveries. The teenager made an immediate impact by hitting Jasprit Bumrah for a six off his very first ball. Riyan Parag added a quick 20 to push the total to a daunting level in the shortened contest.

In response, Mumbai Indians struggled under scoreboard pressure. Jofra Archer struck early and kept things tight, while regular wickets halted any momentum. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton fell cheaply, leaving the middle order with too much to do.

Late efforts from Sherfane Rutherford (25 off 8) and Naman Dhir (25 off 13) provided brief resistance, but the steep target proved out of reach.

Rajasthan’s bowlers delivered a clinical performance, with Sandeep Sharma, Nandre Burger, and Ravi Bishnoi picking up two wickets each to seal the win.

Mumbai finished at 123/9, falling short as Rajasthan Royals continued their strong run in the tournament. Jaiswal was named Player of the Match.
