Following the political transition in West Bengal, the state government is set for a major cabinet expansion, with 35 ministers scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy on Monday.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Raj Bhavan, where newly inducted ministers will officially join the cabinet led by Chief Minister .
According to reports, a probable list of ministers has surfaced, including several prominent leaders from the (BJP). Names likely to be inducted include , Dr. Ajay Kumar Poddar, Kalita Majhi, Deepak Barman, Bishal Lama, Shankar Ghosh, Moumita Biswas Mishra, Joel Murmu, and Jagannath Chattopadhyay.
The cabinet is expected to maintain a balance between experienced politicians and younger leaders while ensuring regional representation. Reports suggest that Sardyot Mukhopadhyay, Indranil Khan, Purnima Chakraborty, Tapas Roy, Dudh Kumar Mondal, Gargi Ghosh Das, and Malati Rava Roy may also be included.
