Sanjay Raut Backs Devendra Fadnavis for Union Education Minister's Post

Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Monday suggested that Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should be appointed as the next Union Education Minister, saying he is well-qualified for the role and will eventually move to Delhi.

Speaking at a press conference in Mumbai, Raut said that if Fadnavis' name is under consideration for the Education Ministry, he would be the most deserving candidate.

"If Devendra Fadnavis' name is being considered, he is fully qualified for the post. I firmly believe he will be made the country's next Education Minister. He may deny it as much as he wants, but he will be the next Education Minister. Under any circumstances, Devendra Fadnavis will go to Delhi," Raut said.

Raut's remarks come amid ongoing political speculation over the Union Education Ministry. However, there has been no official confirmation from the Centre or the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regarding any such appointment.

The statement has further fueled discussions about Fadnavis' possible future role in national politics, although neither the Maharashtra Chief Minister nor the BJP has responded to Raut's claims.
