BJP President Nitin Naveen Visits Tapkeshwar Temple During Uttarakhand Tour

BJP National President Nitin Naveen visited the historic Tapkeshwar Temple in Dehradun on the third day of his three-day Uttarakhand tour on Saturday. He offered prayers at the temple, performed jalabhishek, participated in the aarti, and toured the temple premises.

Upon his arrival, Nitin Naveen received a grand welcome at the temple. Tapkeshwar Temple Mahant Krishna Giri Maharaj and Digambar Bharat Giri later presented him with a portrait of Lord Tapkeshwar Mahadev.

Following his temple visit, the BJP chief visited the residence of booth president Kishore Kumar in Garhi Cantt, where he met the family and shared refreshments with them.

Earlier on Friday, during meetings with MPs, MLAs, office bearers, and mayors, Naveen reportedly highlighted shortcomings while also delivering a strong message on discipline and unity within the party. He emphasized that the BJP must remain united to secure another victory in the state.

Sources said Naveen arrived prepared with detailed ground-level reports from assembly constituencies and booth-level organisations, reportedly correcting leaders whenever inaccurate information was shared.

He also advised party leaders to resolve internal matters privately rather than discussing them on social media and urged legislators to focus on grassroots-level work.

Special attention was also given to the 23 assembly seats lost by the BJP in the previous state election. Naveen reportedly made it clear that Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha MPs would play a key role in regaining those constituencies, while full-time party workers would be deployed to strengthen the organisation on the ground.
