Four-year-old’s killing sparks outrage; police file 900-page chargesheet under multiple sections
New Delhi | April 9, 2026: The family of a four-year-old girl who was abducted and murdered in the Nandgram area of Ghaziabad has approached the Supreme Court of India, raising concerns over the police investigation.
The incident took place on March 16, 2026, when the child was reportedly kidnapped while playing outside her home. The accused was arrested shortly after the incident. However, the family has expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of the case by the Uttar Pradesh Police, particularly the Nandgram police station, alleging that key aspects of the investigation have not been adequately addressed.
