Eid Celebration Turns Tragic: 26-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Death in Delhi After Cigarette Dispute
Family alleges three minors attacked Arbaaz near his Jahangirpuri home following a heated argument on Eid night
A festive evening turned tragic in North West Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area after a 26-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death following a minor dispute over a cigarette.
The victim, identified as Arbaaz, was a resident of C-Block in Jahangirpuri and worked at a local jewellery shop. According to family members, he was the sole earning member of the household.
The incident reportedly took place around 11 PM on Thursday near his residence. While his family was celebrating Eid, Arbaaz allegedly got into an argument with a group of local youths. What initially started as a verbal altercation quickly escalated into violence.
According to reports, the accused repeatedly attacked Arbaaz with knives, leaving him critically injured in a pool of blood. Three minors are believed to have been involved in the attack.
The shocking incident has left the victim’s family devastated, turning what was meant to be a joyous occasion into a heartbreaking tragedy. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
